Therefore, the report of its decision on zoning is a figment of the imagination of whoever concocted the story,” it said.

…THEN CHRIST HAS NOT RISEN
Hasn’t been recorded that the first place where Christians gathered
after the ascension of Christ was Antioch? This mark the birth of Christianity
and the practice of what we have today.

I hold the faith and believe that, this is not a good point
enough to cause confusion and difference among the Christians seeing today. It’s
so right to ask; why do we have so much division among the Christians? Why do
we see our brethren as not been faithful? Why do we have first class and second
classes in the Christendom? No wonder why FELA sings thus: Imam na gbaladun, Pope
na enjoyment, Archbishops’ na miliki…..
Jesus formation can be traced to Act 2:36. I was born, trained
and duly trend in the path of Christianity. I presumed, religion goes with
faith and belief. I think, it’s not just a mean to worship God alone but to
give out as at when due. why then do we have Reverend, Pastors, Bishops, Evangelist
, G.O e.t.c living flayabouyant and
extravagant life ,while church members ,parishioners wallowing in abject
poverty? Why is it that the poor masses continue to enrich the men of God
through their offerings, while they live in abject poverty? Why is it that,
they lives in dilapidated building while the men of God lives in castle, mansion,
and estates? Why is it that poor Christians walk the street bare footed while
some men of God owns the comfort of the
world acquiring; jet, latest cars and fat bank accounts? Why is it that the
Christian established higher institutions like in the missionary days are not
meant for the poor with the exorbitant / unbearable school fees? Why is it that
the brotherhood of Christianity failed among us with the Pentecostals referring
to orthodox churches as not been faithful or true worshipers of God? Haven’t
you read Mathew 16:15-22? Don’t you believe what the word of God says in Mathew
7:1-5?
What has denomination, religion and believe got to do with
God existence and purpose of living? Remember, thou shall not judge…Mathew 1-6?
If we must stay holy, we need to start from our various hearts. Are all the church goers holier or saint in
totality? What God required of you is good work and salvation of souls -Mathew16:26-29
If we have discrimination and division among the Christians, how
do we prevail on the people on the other side of faith? Though, Christianity
and Islamic are of different perspectives, still; there exist some uniqueness
in the duo. It’s like the use of French and English languages. While the formal
is from the Europeans, that of latter is from the Arabic world. At least, if
you believe, do what is just to cleanse our society off its social vices. It’s
right to say, as we have the wide spread of churches with divided mission, so
we have among us more empowered evils. The purpose of most modern day churches
range from personal benefit to self enrichments. Haven’t we seeing where there
are men of God who chosen to be as a result of un-employment, quick enrichment with
undertone evil perpetrations? These had long been professed in Mark 13:6. Are
they not aware of what Baruch 2:2 says?
These, thence called for remorsefulness particularly as
Christ suffered and died on the cross for us to be cleansed of our various
misconducts. This moment is meant for repatriation and remorsefulness. Let us
trace our path and be fulfilled in our dealings. Remember, He doesn’t rejoice
in the death of sinner but, total repentance….
Above all, hold the faith that God is one and good to all. Let’s
stop fanatics. He alone knows the purpose of our living and only He knows best.
Brethren, segregation, sentiments, bigotry, division, self
condemnations and criticism are of no use before HIM and to HIM. He alone knows
our minds and our heart desires. Since its
known that denomination were not made in heaven, let’s stop being in
haste to judge others as a result of what they practices , long as it’s in line
with Biblical ways. The message is; go ye into the world….. Mark 16:15-16, Mathew 17:20.
It’s of necessity therefore to understand the purpose of
Christ death and his resurrection. Should we fail to oblige; then Christ has
not risen in us.
May HIS death renew our strength and refurbish our faith.
God alone is enof…

Life is lifeless when
you live in abject poverty
Our society is filled
with deceits
Our homes are in
disarray of artificial afflictions
Our land are being
occupied by the un -just
Justice lives only in
the grave
Oh, dearest future, any
mean for survival?
Oh, the time, when
would you turn us round for good?
Oh the stage, when will
you set for us?
Oh the fortunes, where
lays thy true face?
Still, we shall get it
done.
Still we shall come out
of it.
Still we shall wear the
crown.
Still we shall get
there soon.
